Roll up! Roll up! For the Big Gorilla Fair
The Gorilla Organization is delighted to announce that on Saturday 14 May, the Loughton Festival will host the first ever ‘Big Gorilla Fair’.
Organised by supporters of the charity, this fantastic event will be held at St Michael’s Church in Loughton, Essex between 1pm and 5pm. All of the money raised through the event will go to support The Gorilla Organization’s conservation and development projects in Africa, aimed at guaranteeing the survival of this incredible species.
Representatives of The Gorilla Organization will be there on the day, so you will be able to learn more about gorillas and the work we do to protect them. Plus, you can learn how you can play your part in protecting the great apes – you’ll even be able to sign up for the 2016 Great Gorilla Run!
“At The Gorilla Organization, we work internationally to carry out our mission of saving gorillas in the wild,” explains events manager Chris Perrin.
“While working with other international NGOs and the National Parks of Africa is an essential part of what we do, we also love connecting with our supporters here at home. We are lucky to have loyal, generous supporters right around the world, and we hope to see as many of you possible joining in all the fun of the fair.”
Entry to the Big Gorilla Fair costs just £1 for adults, with children going for free. And, if you can’t make it to Loughton on the day but still want to get more active in gorilla conservation, get in touch with events@gorillas.org to learn more about upcoming events taking place across the UK.
