World Gorilla Day comedy night puts the ‘fun’ into fundraising
On Monday 24 September, the Gorilla Organization hosted a special night of comedy to celebrate World Gorilla Day 2019.
Some of London’s best new comedians joined established acts to take to the stage in Primrose Hill for an evening of laughs in aid of gorilla conservation. Among the stars who gave up their time to support the great apes were Alasdair Beckett-King, the Iain Duncan-Smiths and Alan Francis. Gorilla Organisation staff, as well as supporters were in attendance and the evening raised vital funds to support frontline conservation and development projects in Africa.
Special thanks go to the Monkey Business Comedy Club for hosting the evening and to all the acts who performed.
